About
I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Bethesda, Maryland. I have worked in mental health for over two decades serving individuals and families. I trained and worked in both public and private clinics, substance abuse facilities, psychiatric hospitals, and emergency rooms in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
I believe that the core principle of psychotherapy is about partnership. I work in an interactive way with patients to assist them in exploring their life difficulties and becoming "unstuck" . This is important so that patients can break out of the negative patterns that have prevented them from progressing in life and hurting less. My core method is a cognitive behavioral approach. This means that in therapy we will look at your thoughts, feelings, and actions to see how they impact how you respond to yourself and others. I enjoy helping others and seeing them hurt less and move forward to a happier place in their lives.
My office is conveniently located at 4400 East West Highway in Bethesda, Maryland. I welcome questions and can be reached by phone at
